How it works
- You submit entries to our competitions (TBA).
- We'll show off your submitted works on a big screen.
- Everyone gets their time to shine.
- We have a vote, assigning points to each entry.
- On the last day, scores are revealed, prizes are given and we cheer for the effort of every entry.
FAQ
- Q: Do I need to make something for competitions to join?
- A: Not at all, you can appreciate the works as much as anyone regardless.
- Q: Do you allow remote entries?
- A: Yes, we will provide info on how to do so when it is ready.
- Q: Will there be gaming?
- A: While we won't run any gaming competitions, you are free to do as you please.
- Q: I need a place to stay, is there a sleeping area?
- A: Yes, though it is limited, we recommend finding accomodation with friends in town or at one of the many hotels. We will try to make room for as many sleeping spots as possible.
- Q: Will there be showers available?
- A: Yes :)
- Q: Will AI be allowed?
- A: Only the most basic use of Generative AI is allowed, such as code completion, we want -your- creativity to shine here.
- Q: What is the demoscene?
- A: The demoscene started in the 80s with groups cracking games and adding sequences known as Intros to them to show their skills. This later developed into its own form of art and fueled many innovations within computer graphics and game development.
